Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan) and Anjali (Kajol) are best friends. Rahul falls in love with Tina (Rani Mukerji). Anjali who has been in love with Rahul leaves after Rahul proposes to Tina. Tina and Rahul marry. After some days Tina dies after her child birth. She names her child as Anjali before dying. After many dramatical incidents, Rahul’s daughter re-unites Rahul and Anjali.
